Instructors

Art

Ronald G. Middleton is currently an art teacher at Ursula Collins  Elementary. He has a B.A. in Art and Masters of Arts in Teaching from University of South Carolina. Mr. Middleton also has an Educational Specialist degree from Cambridge College.

Dance Instructor

Sharon E. Mayfield is currently a dance teacher for John S. Davidson Fine Arts School. She has a B.A. in Dance from North Carolina School of the Arts. Mrs. Mayfield has worked with the Garth Fagan Dance group and the Augusta Ballet.

Drama Instructor

Judith Simon-Butler has been involved with Augusta Mini Theatre since 1975 and has instructed drama since 1980. She has a B.A. degree in Communications (concentration in Drama and Speech) from Augusta College (Augusta State University).

Piano Instructors

Hettie F. Copleand is a retired, elementary and junior high school music teacher. She has a B.A. degree in Music Education from Savannah State College and Clark Atlanta University.

Carolyn L. Hardy is a retiree of the United States Air Force. She has a B.A. degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Music from Paine College and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Development from Webster University.

Brenda W. Pollard is a retired music teacher of the Richmond County Board of Education. She has a B.A. degree in Music from Durham, North Carolina and Masters of Education from Cambridge College.

Judith F. Ruffin is a retired music teacher from the Consolidated School, District of Aiken County for over thirty years. She has a B.A. degree from Spelman College and a Masters of Arts in Music from Michigan State University.

Sok Hwee Tay has a B.A. degree in Music Therapy from Georgia College and State University. Ms. Tay is currently working on her Master of Arts in Music.
